It's halloween goofball. How is that odd today? It might be odd if it's still in there in February.

I assure you, it will probably still be there in Feb.

Wallet, sunglasses, gum, Tide pen, kleenex, small container of chinese herbs (my TCM herbs), folding hair brush, one Chico bag, sock knitting bag (which has its own items in it: sock on the needles, yarn, small crochet hook, over ear light, folded up pattern, row counter), cell phone, CTA card, Metra pass, pen, bluetooth headset, small Moleskine, cosmetics bag (lip balm, hand lotion, hair ties, nail clippers, nail file, Advil, Listerine Pocketpak). Whew!

Oh, and in the outside pockets: a small umbrella, house keys, work ID, and I usually put my stainless steel water bottle in the other side pocket.

Believe it or not, without a full water bottle this all can fit in a surprisingly light, and somewhat small bag!

I have a Brighton purse that is an organizer and it is about 8" wide and 5" tal, but it can hold ALOT!

Good gracious. I couldn't begin to list it all. Start with a Whole Big Lot of old receipts and spare change. Wallet. Nail clippers. Tiny screwdriver for my glasses when they start to fall apart. Ballpoint pen. Sharpie. Crayons. Several broccoli-type rubberbands. Small tape measure, no longer coils back into its case. Comb with missing teeth. Hairbrush with no handle. Three-way brass aquarium air valve (it colonized my purse about 25 years ago, I've long since forgotten why, and now is sort of a lucky charm type thing

). Very mashed up old Peppermint Pattie, probalby no longer edible. Old golf ball. Doubtless other things, possibly some of them even identifiable. Uh, some, anyhow.

Hey, say what you want, if I ever face an emergency where only a brass three-way aquarium air valve can save the day, I am SO ready

all the basics plus my compact pink-colored TAZER with matching pepper spray canister. Working on the road brings me into contact with some interesting characters and one always needs something to "even out the odds" Safe is much better then hurt or worse.

Oh my, lets see, keys, credit card, drivers license, expired VA I.D., change purse, egg money, check book, a book of stamps, a zillion receipts, 2pks of gum, 2 lip balms, Blistex lip medix, Krogers card, Staples reward card, business cards (others and ours) 5 pens, kleenex, driving glasses, reading glasses, a calandar that I always forget I have when I need one, glasses repair kit, hand lotion, a The Grabby handle which I've only used once and it's a bother but is still in my purse, 2 Lactaid fast act tablets, 3 cherry cold-eeze, extra strength gas-X, extra strenght tums, decongestant tablet, Head On migraine stick, a baggy w/a few starburst candies, a tampon and a flyer for our local downtown coffee shop.
