Pustules / growths on face

I discovered these bumps today all over the face eyes and wattles of this Banty hen. They are yellowish, some have opened up and are bloody but I don’t know if they are pus filled.

Her Banty sister died suddenly 4 days ago of unknown causes. She may have also had these growths on her face.

Fowl pox, looks like dry form which is something they usually recover from in a couple weeks.

Fowl pox would be my guess. Do you have mosquitoes out now?

It's my understanding that mosquitoes usually get the pox party started but it's incredibly durable in the environment. A contaminated coop/run area can just keep infecting new arrivals even if none of the chickens has an active infection.

Update:

Two day progression of the lumps. She can’t see or eat or drink from the lack of sight. She’s still trying to eat, but not getting any food and losing energy.
They are bursting with white fluid.

To answer questions: Yes there are prolific mosquitoes on Big Island Hawaii . . . I noticed these lumps on her 4 days ago and none of the others have had any symptoms.
Could it be something other than fowl pox? She’s had ACV in her water.
I’ve been assuming it’s fowl pox and hoping that it runs its course and goes away, but I have to step in now. Thinking of putting colloidal silver on the affected areas and in her eyes as per suggestion from a friend. Any other ideas?

That's a severe case but it does still look like fowl pox. Does she have any in her mouth or are her feeding struggles only due to vision? I know people sometimes force feed directly into the crop but I haven't so I will not advise about that other than to say there is information out there.

There is also a vaccine for this, you might want to go ahead and get a batch, vaccinate all your birds. It's a live vaccine made from pigeon pox, a much milder illness that offers cross protection. Unfortunately, the vaccine only comes in large dose vials and has a very short shelf life once prepared so it isn't very practical for backyard keepers. And infecting the sick one won't help her. BUT, it may prevent this happening in succession with all the rest
