Put Silkie in his own coop and run or with the rest of the flock?

I currently have about 20 hens, 2 full size roosters, 1 bantam cochin frizzle roo, 2 cockerels, 1 pullet, and 10 2-week-old chicks all coexisting in a coop and run. I just got a Silkie rooster earlier this week. I've been keeping him in his own dog kennel inside the coop. I'm getting a separate (and smaller) coop and run tomorrow; this is where I'll be keeping my future flock of Silkies and bantams.

I'm not sure what to do with the Silkie roo, should I:

1. Put him in this separate coop and run by himself until I get more Silkies, or
2. Put him and the bantam cochin frizzle roo in the separate coop and run, or
3. Leave him in the main coop and run with the rest of the flock?

It's my first time with a Silkie and he seems so gentle and defenseless. I loathe the idea of the other chickens pecking on him. On the other hand, I don't want him to feel lonely as I don't know when I can get a female companion for him.

Thanks for any feedback!

Anytime you get new birds it's a good idea to quarantine them for a couple weeks. Just in case. I don't think it's a good idea to put the new guy in with your other little roo right away. Maybe keep them apart by fence so, they can get to know each other for a few days.
