Put Your Creative Hats On!

After playing with it a while, I've decided it's going to be too much of a hassle to build onto, so I'm going with a regular 4x8. If I can incorporate parts of the piano somewhere I will, but right now I need to get something built so I can go get my girls!

Totally understand! Im horrible at bringing them home and THEN figuring it out!

Believe me, I was tempted, but I do know better. The odd cat or dog in the house is one thing, but I don't think I want pullets in the living room.

rofl.. i've had my chickens since may and still haven't built them a coop.....
but the piano.. yeah.. i was having a hrad time too... esp considering i have a 1902 upright grand that is my baby... lol...

only thing i could think of was for the nesting boxes.. but yeah.. strings need to come out....

good luck with the build...

Already have some of the strings out, but it's a real pain and very time consuming. Would require a lot more work just dismantling what needs to be, and then adding on more to make large enough. I'm sure I can repurpose some of the wood for other things - the legs/columns, cover, hinges, shelf beneath keyboard, etc.
