My new Chicken Palace is built on a slope (DH took great care to level the roof structure), and I'm intending to use some logs to make stops to slow down this movement. My hope is to be able to add bedding at the top under the roosts and harvest compost at the bottom next to the door. We'll see how well that works eventually.
