Putting baby chicks together

Can you put baby chicks that are 6 weeks and 4 weeks together
Yes, you can, though it may not work with some breeds (production reds and leghorns can be particularly nasty to each other as chicks). I've had as much as a 4-5 week gap, once the littles were 1-2+ weeks old. But I have more laid back, LARGE breed birds. I would give them a see-no-touch intro for a day or two and make sure they have enough room to prevent fights.

Should work......give more space than you think they need, more than one feed/water station(especially if adding one group to the other groups established space vs putting all into a new space) and monitor but only interfere if necessary....the more you impede the little squabbles the longer they drag out.....if no one is actually being injured, let them be
