I'm so sorry. It is so very hard to get to the point of making that decision but it is good that you could. I had a cocker live to be 22 and 1/2 and had to put her down. I had my daughter drive us to the vet and I fed her all the chocolate she could cram in her tummy. The vet came out to the car to put her to sleep so I could sit and hold her. Then I brought her home and buried her under the dogwood tree. I'm sorry.

Im so sorry I have been through it before-it wasn'r an easy decision and 7 years later...It still hurts to think about it-but he is much happier now ...

You are in a difficult position, and have made a wise choice. It's never easy, but your given situation and the problems he's having I think make it even harder than the normal euthanasia due to old age.
