putting eggs in bator

How long should you sit shipped eggs out before putting them in the bator?

I think i read somewhere 12-24 hours

Mine are always sitting out in egg cartons right by the incubator so I just put them right in.

I put them in my incubator as soon as I get them but don't turn on my turner until the next day to give the eggs time to settle while coming up to temperature. I have had many successful hatches.

I received 75 quail eggs today via USPS and placed them directly from box to bator.

i put my first shipping straight from box to bator, 2nd shipping waited 8 hours, 3rd waited a day, and my last i just got waiting till 11pm tonight, so far all eggs are forming the same so idk if it matters or not. but it is good to let them sit a little while
