Putting eggs in the bator on July 25, does anyone wanna hatch along???

I had my temperature drop to 85 degrees for a couple hours someone... Are they okay ? And for what I understand chipped eggs lost hatch rates not all and completely. I would still give it a shot ! I think everyone has tough things on day one. Best of luck to all of you ! I'll keep updating here.

When did you put yours in the bator?

Going to be setting Serama eggs late tonight, total number is either 17 or 18 (I'll see when they arrive today). Can I join?

Panda, from what I understand, a couple hours (even more sometimes) won't harm your eggs...it may delay the hatch by a couple hours. Mama hens don't sit constantly, so your eggs should be fine.

I don't know about the chip thing but, its still in there. I didn't have the heart to take it out. I only have three of that kind. I would guess it won't develope but, the membranes are still in tack so I guess we will give her a try.
