shes is beautiful...she looks completely healthy too! keep doing what your doing....i love it when people "spoil" their special needs animals....but, with her i wouldnt see it as spoiling as more necessary for her life. I hope you have a place where predators cant get in......i want to thank you even for taking the extra time for her....im sure she appreciates it!
Glad to see she is doing well with her vision problem. The special needs chickens hold a special place in my heart. I had an OLD hen that couldn't see well. She was fine untill one day I found her laying in the grass instead of going in the coop. The poor thing was almost gone. I nursed her back to health and she wound up becoming a house chicken. Her vision was so bad that I had to keep her in a small cage with her food and water right in front of her so she could find it. I would let her out during the day to exercise and see her friends. She stayed with us for a few more months and then it was finally her time to go. She clucked at me when I walked past to go upstairs and when I came back down she was laying there dead. It was just her time.
