I've had my 9 week old girls for 2 days now. Today they went up and down the ladder to the brooding area. They have 2 windows in there and a nice breeze but starting to get dark and I found myself picking them up to go there for the night. Should I be waiting for them to roost themselves? I don't want them walking around in the run after dark so is there a way to coax them?

just try to give them a little time. the 3rd night i was going to put them in, but went inside for something. they showed no interest at 8 when i ran inside. when i came back out at 8:15 they were all in the coop.

Maybe I should have waited a few more minutes it was about 8:15 and they were active. I'll do what I have to until it clicks with them or me😊
