Update -
So they are on their 6th day of Duramycin. The first 4 days I did 400 mg. Yesterday we upped it to 800mg. One of the Orpingtons was better by 3 days, the bantam was actually on the roost last night. Her wings were not still fully tucked up, but she's "flying" a bit. The other Orp, the runty roo, seems better, but not completely. We actually found him lying on the ground, one wing out awkwardly yesterday afternoon, apparently unable to right himself. When righted and placed under the heat lamp he remained there. Was eating and walking around again this morning. We measure his improvement by the fact that her hasn't died. I did bring him in fr a day and fed him lots of egg, which he eagerly gobbled up.
So, based on all these facts (remember they never had runny noses or other respiratory symptoms, just droopiness, weight loss and usually death, any ideas as to what's going on?
