I haven't done a puzzle in ages! I found this while grocery shopping. It's got 3 of my favorite things. 😍
I worked on it throughout the day today with a little help from my hubby. He said he doesn't have a strategy (I could tell 😁). I do use a strategy from sorting the puzzle from the beginning to finding pieces that fit.
Anyone else do puzzles? If so do you have a strategy?

I haven't done a puzzle in ages because they're just too time consuming for the end result, imo.
My only strategy was to sort out and start with the edge pieces and to make d@mn sure I didn't loose any pieces. That's the worst.

Right? I was worried we would knock a piece off of the table and our dog would get it - she just loves to chew up things: paper, rugs, furniture.... 🤣

Puzzles are one of my favorite hobbies! I always start with the edges and then depending on the picture and number of pieces, I'll sort pieces by color, pattern, or shape. Once I get everything sorted I like to choose a small focus of the picture or a color with only a few pieces and work on those areas first. Backgrounds and solid colors I almost always save for last. For this puzzle, I would have started with the flowers and cardinal and done the chicken last, starting from the head and tail and moved in towards the body.

Oh my. That's exactly what I did! The purple flower was the easiest. The tail of the rooster was pretty easy as well. His body was the last to be done. At the very end, I had to sort those pieces into the different shapes and just kept at it until I found the piece that fit.
It was a fun puzzle to complete!
