PVC coated galvanized welded wire or just plane galvanized wire

So what's better for wire for my run construction coated galvi wire of just plain galvi. I can get a really good deal on the coated stuff that's why I ask

Idk but it may be discounted for a reason.

PVC will last many years longer if it's not much difference in price it would be better. Galv lasts a long time on it's own. I have pens 30 years old that are still in good shape.

If the vinyl cracks and moisture gets in, its trapped there, rust heaven.......at least the bare galv can dry exposed to air.

boat309- What did you in up deciding on and how is it working out? I am thinking about doing the whole run in PVC coated wire (1" sq) as well.

I ended up using plain galvi wire just beacuse I got a really good deal. I used 1x2 and have had no problems in over a year
