PVC coated hardware cloth

Can anyone please confirm if PVC/vinyl coated hardware cloth can still cause sore feet in rabbits and quails?

Yes, it could if they are on wire all day long.
Quail and Rabbits, need somewhere to get off the wire for periods of time.
This can be a board, piece of cardboard (for Quail), piece of tile, etc. Quail would also love to have a shallow bowl, tub or box filled with sand/peat moss to take dust baths.

I use rubber livestock bowls for Quail to take dust baths in.

I am personally against wire floors in general. Coated wire is a bit better, but it can still cause painful sores if they are on it too long
