I see a lot of PVC work on the forums by the faithful DIY crowd. However, I rarely see details on the PVC they are using. Is there a specific type to use? What are the thoughts on 3" vs 4" for feeders? Thanks for any details that can be provided!

I use 4" schedule 40 PVC pipe.
