PVC feeder question

    I built a feeder out of 4" thin wall PVC, a 90 degree elbow, and 2 end caps. I know quite a bit of you use them. My chicks make a mess using it. They throw the feed all over the coop. Do ya'lls do this? If so, what did you do to remedy the situation? Thanks

    Cover it with wire so they don't have room to move their heads sideways

    Thats a good idea. I was thinking about taking off the old horizontal piece and then putting a new one with holes drilled in it instead of a long slot across the top.

    That would serve the same purpose and probably look better too​
