My awesome hubby made a pvc feeder and chicken nipple waterer while I was out of state for a few days. The girls LOVE them! I have another feeder inside the coop but this has become their preferred feeder. What do you think?

Looks awesome! I have been thinking about making one of these but around here PVC piping is pretty expensive!

Cheapest way is to buy electrical conduit and bend it yourself. No need for elbows or glue. Cost is about $15. Don't look as nice but does the trick.

I just built two pvc feeders using drainage pipe that you find in the back of most home depots outside close to the black perforated pipe. A 10 ft piece of drainage pipe without perforated holes is about $7.50 and most of the fittings are between $2 and $3.75, for instance the end cap is only $1.87. I built both of my feeders for just over $27 and if I had of made them a little more simple I believe I could have done it for $22. I used more 45 degree angle fittings than is necessary in most applications, build it simple with just a straight top section and you could keep the price down.
