Pygmy Goat

I texted and asked the past owner, he said he wormed him but hasn't given me a date or with what type of wormer and hasn't returned my texts/calls
Well, then I would go ahead and have a fecal run. Then you will know the count and what type of worms your dealing with.

He is doing great, doesn't like the taste of the wormer though lol can't say I blame him. There is some improvement but going to redose again in a week-2 weeks and go from there. The origional owner never got back to me. He seems to be eating and drinking better now too

No, I couldn't find a vet who would do it without charging an arm and a leg. Its hard to find a good farm animal vet around where we live

Vets around here don't know goats too well. We do all our own vetting. I go by the eyelid color to tell when to worm them. That and their coat conditions.

I have the same problem finding a vet who will work with goats. Glad to hear he's doing better. Yes. Don't think they enjoy the dewormer but at least it's quick and I usually give a little treat (banana) afterward...... spoiled :) Glad it's going well
