Are you a member at our sister site, TheEasyGarden, too?

I'd love to see pictures of your chickens. They sound awesome!

Thanks Allie and the others for the nice welcome.... I'm not aware of the sister garden group....how can I get on to that one....does anyone have Dahlias? I'm sorry that I don't have any current photos of the Pyncheons.....just the one that is on "feathersite"..... I just counted my Pyncheon breeders last night....I have 37...I thought I had a few more..... I hope to get some more nice ones hatched this Spring. Lambs are starting to be born and I've been working in the green house like crazy this week as well. Thanks again and best to all, Rusty

Hi Rusty! Welcome!

I see that you have Scottish blackface sheep, now can I have one for the city mowing in my backyard??????

I would love to see some pics of your sheep. Hubby was in Scotland some years ago and they are beautiful!

How did they come into the US anyway? I would love to read up on the Scottish sheep history and their breeders there and here. I am certain that the sheep was fairly recently imported here in the US.

Too bad I dont see any Illinois breeders near me that I can take a look and see and have hubby wear his kilts and pose next to a sheep or two.

There used to be tons of SBF sheep here in the states....now it's down to just a handful of dedicated breeders....several people have...say....5-6 sheep very few have over 25. I had 160 at one time....I'm down to my top 40 ewes....I don't know how to post photos...but if you'd like to e-mail me I can send some? [email protected] Thanks
