*Q: What kills a ringworm???

If it is ringworm, clear nail polish works too!! Just paint all around it and make sure it is covered with nail polish. When the nail polish dries it seals and sufficates the ringworm! My son got it from a dog that he was playing with down the road a bit. They forgot to mention the dog had it! We did the nail polish thing and when it was dry, covered it with a bandaid. Just dont use the nail polish on anything else after that!! lol.. But My DH and myself ended up with it and the nail polish took care of it. But just ake sure that is what it is, covering a lingering spider bite wouldnt be good.

Good luck!!

Ringworm is a fungus and can be cured by any antifungal cream for athletes foot, yeast infections & jock itch.

You should check with a doctor to see the area since its right after a spider bite.

I also just wanted to mention that ringworm actually isn't a worm at all. It's a fungus. Rooster is right about the antifungal creams.

I've heard the nail polish cure for a few different things. Personally I don't think it's that great of an idea to put clear nail polish on the skin, as it suffocates the skin too! I had a reaction to chiggers last year and everybody kept telling me to do that. Turns out, most people are misinformed about many parasites. Just as many people believe ringworm is a worm, many also believe the chiggers bury themselves in the skin. Many get chiggers confused with scabies, which does in fact bury underneath the skin!

I would get that checked out though. A red line as you are describing can sometimes be a sign of blood poisoning!
