Qails can be absolutely brutal!: *warning: graphic images*

I knew quails were brutal and sex crazed, but jesus christ I didn't think they would go this far!

Is there any way to heal these 2? Will the grey quail be able to see from that eye again?
Also the second quail (the white one) is permanently bald, will he be fine?

Also were going to remove the culprits (aka the aggressive quails) as we speak.

Clean them up, keep them warm and in a clean enviornment until the wound heals, and they'll be fine. If you can, put something like Blu-cote on them to keep the other birds from pecking at the red. If you can't, keep them isolated until the skin grows back.

They'll be fine.

Trust @Nabiki on this one. I had a hen beaten up so badly she barely had a head and I thought both eyes were gone. Today, she's fine.

If you have more than one male in the cage, you're going to have to make some tough decisions. If these are male, perhaps culling them now will save you some time and effort.

I can’t really tell how badly the eye is injured, but the scabs should fall off in a couple days and the feathers should be regrown and normal looking in a few weeks. Quail are very hardy birds.

Well were getting rid of 2 males, which leaves use with 3. My parents give the quails game chicken feed and crunched up corn (my parents the same food used for chickens basically).

And as im typing this im starting to see how small and compact it is for 9 quails in total (3 males and 6 females which actually sounds awful but oddly enough my female quails haven't been plucked, not sure how but, yeah.

Can your parents set up an account on BYC to learn about how adding corn isn't good for them.
Can you post a picture of the bag if chicken feed they buy?

Could you possibly get some fake plants and some buckets or baskets to put in there?

I'm afraid quail and chickens have different nutritional needs. If you're feeding your quail the same thing that you're feeding your chickens, they might not be getting enough protein.

As long as you have more than one boy in that pen, you're going to get fighting, injuries, and possibly death.

Can you add some hiding places for your birds? They'll be a lot happier.
