Quacker my house duck!

I have a very special muscovy duck named Quacker nicknamed "Duckie". She was born May 26, 2013 and I brought her home when she was 3 days old. She is such a good pet and friend to me. We do everything together. She is learned to follow commands and it seems like everyday is exciting with her in my life. Even though she's a house duck she gets out everyday to swim, sun bathe, and exersise. Here are some pictures. Feel free to share you're special duck!

That is literally SO cute! Is she trained to poop in a certain place?

She wears a custom duck diaper and stays in an indoor sleeping pen in my room. We just were outside trying to learn "Come Here" but she doesn't listen very well. She still follows me....when she feels like it. -_-

I really need help training her some basic commands like "Come here" and "Go to there" also I'd like to train her to play with her toys which doesn't seem to come natural to her.

Can you post pics of the diaper? lol My Duckie wears one in the house, but it is a work in progress. Each new one is a little better than the last, but I don't think I've quite got it perfect yet.

Aww, so sweet! My drake spent his first year in and out of the house. They certainly make pleasant company.

If you make the same sound or call while you feed her from your hand a few times, I bet she'll start to come running when she hears you make that sound. I do this with my chickens, and though I never tried to teach my ducks to come, they picked up the concept from the chickens very quickly and are always the first to come over now. So funny to see ducks running toward me when I call "Chickens, chickens!"
