do not put the feed or water on the shelves! coturnix are not like some quail that roost and perch. strickly ground dwellers. feed and water on the very bottom. where the birds are. if you use that, u can turn it into 3 or 4 differnt enclosures by making floors and simple doors. use the space cause i promise those quail will not. only the floor.

honestly if it was me, i'd turn it sideways, put 1/2" cloth on the "new" bottom, you MIGHT be good with the exsisting exterior, tho i can't really tell how big it is in the pic.

take out the stuff in there, seal it up, and you got a coop lol

I did it

I used half the cage. it was easy. They can't fit through the bars which is great

Its in a heated area, by hay being int here, theres a window for light
