Yes! I love bobwhite vocalizations sooo much! My youngins are practicing their adult calls! Not the "bob WHITE" though

Our Coturnix sound a little like "look at me"
Yes, quail can be vocal, but not near as loud as a chicken. And around here they blend with the native birds pretty much. I think our sparrows make more noise than quail. lol...
We have 8 Coturnix in the house, and I find all their chatter pleasing, and they never wake any of our family . They are in a room with screen doors, so it's not like the noise is blocked off.

The most common vocalization my bobs are making right now sounds just like "For real huh? For real huh?" LOL I know if sounds silly but that is what I think of when I hear those vocalizations!

Bob Whites House is 20 ft from my Barnominum & they wake me up every morning & I don't have the best hearing. But I have atleast 50 Bob's.

Bobwhites have such a sweet call... Their personalities are amazing too. They wait for their meal, they eat their treats from my hand (creeping Charlie) and if they want something they make this funny non bob-white call.
I did have an ankle biter issue but the male is a pet now. I suspect he wants his own mate or shall be single for awhile. Usually females are vicious but I so far had a male that was.
