quail and rabbits

I'm getting rabbits soon.
Long term plan is stacking cages, breeding colonies of quail in some, rabbit breeders in some, and grow out cages for the quail and buns. I see everyone here talking about across the barn from each other and such, if I clean everything daily is there a reason it'd be bad to stack them together? The reason I ask is I'd have one size cage with quail breeders and my rabbit buck, and the other size with my does and quail and bun growing out. It'd be easier to just stack three high the same sizes.
Anything I'm not accounting for to prevent that?
Thanks,
Jessie

I have a 16x5 ft quail cage that sits on the ground and when the grass gets too long I put a few rabbits in there for a week to eat the grass havnt had a problem

You also want to watch watering systems, that they don't leak. remove any dirty water from the inside if you use crocks. Wash cages out side and if you need to use fans to change the air in your rabbitry.
I am working on having feed bags on shelves under the quail cage so it's easy to remove waste.

if the both pens are big join them ..

my rabbits, chicks and quails just love to be together
i was thinking about a six ft by six ft pen for two rabbits and 9 quail. do you think it is big enough. i would like the to be together if possible . is a pen for chicken. but i can build ramps for the rabbits. but wonder if they'll leave the qauil nests alone.
