Quail and turkeys

[Mt. Baker Quail]

I am thinking about putting my quail cages and turkeys in the same pen. Is there a disease that turkeys can pass on to quail or vice versa?

Not that I know of. Both are highly susceptible to the same diseases that chickens can carry so I think keeping them together wouldn't hurt.

QUAIL CAN BE VERY GOOD VECTORS FOR HISTOMONIASIS (BLACK HEAD) AND COULD POTENTIALLY BE SOURCE INFECTION FOR YOUR TURKEY FLOCK???

IT SEEMS AS THO ITS 1 OF THE FEW COMMON POULTRY AILMENTS QUAIL DONT SUCCUMB TO EASILY
