Quail and Water Nipples

Newbie here: I have my first batch of quail hatching in the bator right now. I was wondering if quail chicks can be watered using those little red watering nipples on a gallon jug.

I haven't tried the nipples but I don't see why they wouldn't work. My quail use the rabbit waterers.

My birds use the rabbit bottles as well. Be careful of the spring loaded ones depending on the side of your bird.

I use the nipples for quail & they work great. I don't know if the nipple will work on the jug or not though. You did get me thinking about using a pop bottle. I think I will try that tomorrow.
