quail are dying

I bought five qual and one day one was dead and one vanished was wondering if a big lizard or a rat could've killed them. Three days later two more dead and I just seen a big lizard help help plz

If the lizard is big enough and can gain access to the quail pen, it very well might kill them as might a rat.
