Quail are FINALLY hatching on day 21!

The one that just pipped is on day 23. This just goes to show that it's important not to give up on them too soon.

The eggs that were just moved down are on day 18.

Here are pics of the hatched chicks- there are 24 total so far from the two hatches with 19 of them being from my eggs and 5 from MissPrissy's:

Edited because an extra chick slipped into the BBS Orp camera shoot and was disqualified.

They are just way too cute!!

That one was one of the first hatched. I like it. It's interesting to see how some of these crossed chicks have come out looking.

I am very happy with how many Buff Orp chicks hatched. All BO's are my 4 year old son's and I plan on selling them and putting the money away for him.
