Quail attacked by cat. Image attached

Hello
My male quail was attacked by a cat clawing at his hutch. We have moved him inside and have cleaned the wound however after a couple of days the skin around the wound has turned bright green. The wound is on the breast.
I believe this is bruising but I want to be sure. The quail is eating and acting normally.

You should get him to a vet if possible or do some research on how to stitch up those cuts. It's probably getting infected and you might want to put a little hydrogen peroxide to kill the germs.

Stitching the open cuts might be a bad idea,but getting some bandage's on it should work as well. I'm not sure if hydrogen peroxide is safe with birds.
