Quail can’t stand properly

I kept it indoors for a day and it doesn’t seem to be much change. Ill try to stop by the store and get some vitamins see if that helps.

But again, even now it looks lively and healthy. Just not able to prop itself on its feet. Still poops normal poop. Lays normal eggs. She moves around alot back and forth from the feed and water.

It sounds like some sort of head injury. You have a hard decision to make. In my experience, she might recover, but it's going to take time. Weeks. The other choice is to cull. It certainly won't hurt to try the B-complex and vitamin E that @azygous suggested.

I had a bird that I found like that. I actually did spend weeks working with her, and she would start to recover, then get worse again. After about six weeks, I finally chose to cull.

I am happy to say my quail is healthy and walking again. Pretty sure it was because she hit her heard.

So i have an older quail that was fine yesterday but suddenly not able to hold herself up. She eats, drinks, and poops normally. None of the other quail she was with show signs of the same symptoms View attachment 2922617

Just FYI, but this thread is almost two years old.

I'm going to ask some questions to see if we can help you.
1 - How old is he?
2 - What are you feeding him?
3 - Is he eating and pooping?
4 - What does his poop look like? Pictures would be good.
5 - What is his home like?
6 - How many quail do you have, and are any others showing any symptoms at all, even minor ones?
