Quail Chick Brooder

Hey
I have 5 quails in my back garden and discovered I have 2 males! I have incubated 5 of their eggs and have candled them and have seen embryos in some of them on day 4!
I have set up a brooder and needed some advice on if this is suitable... I'm only worried about the holes in the side if they'll get stuck. Any advice appreciated as this is my first time hatching Quail!

They are absolutely going straight out of that.

I drill holes (LOTS of holes!) into a clear plastic tote and use that.

The chicks will definitely either go through the sides or get stuck in them. As @RiverOtter said, a plastic bin will work much better. Something like this:
