Quail chick can’t stand or walk. Help!

you can make booties from blue masking tape to try and correct or you can just let nature take its course. I have a few adults in my aviary that have some degree of curled toes etc that have survived just fine......it kinda depends on your overall goal

Thanks for helping me! I’ll try making booties if they fit, but the chick looks like it’s doing just fine so I might leave him alone.

most of the time these chicks are “failure to thrive” and ultimately die in the brooder if not culled but you can try getting extra electrolytes and/or nutridrench in its system to see if it perks up

Thanks very much! I don’t think he’s going to make it. He is shaking really badly on his back and he won’t drink or eat. I’m going to let nature take its course...

Ok, I will “help” it. He doesn’t look very good and happy.

We had a baby chicken that had weak legs and sat most of the time. We thought we were going to lose her at one point because she wasn't thriving either. I fed her soaked seaweed (has lots of minerals) and it helped. She lived to adulthood, though she always had some leg weakness.
