on the 11th I hatched five coturnix quail chicks, all was well and good until I noticed one chick walking like he had splay leg. so I got him eating vitamin enriched feed and supported him so he stood upright, and he was looking really good, but the more upright he has gotten the more I notice his knee sticks out... I’m not sure what’s wrong, it feels like the femur is jutting out sideways. Can I fix this?

(Can take pics if needed)

Does sound like spalyed leg. You might try rigging up a hobble type wrap around it's legs with vet wrap. Depending on how long it's been showing the signs, it may or may not be corrected. The wicker the wrap is applied the better the chances of correcting the splay leg.

Can you post pictures of how it stands? It might be a leg deformity such as varus or valgus deformity, or a slipped tendon. Those can occur in one or both legs.
