Quail chicks in the garden

My coturnix chicks are only 5 days old but with the hot weather lately, it didn’t seem fair being cramped in a brooder. I’ve been taking them out to forage in the vegetable garden. Theyre having a blast!

I live in the city so wildlife isn’t much of an issue. But I have been watching them closely and it’s only for an hour or so each day

Yeah it’s fun to do I had my chicks on the lawn a few days ago when it was in the 90s

I bring mine out too. I did have an eagle circling once so I gathered them all up and went inside. They love the garden.
