Quail Chicks Pecking each other

I recently hatched quail chicks (about a week old) and they keep pecking each other. Two are getting their butts pecked until they bleed and they all peck each other in the face. One may have an head injury but its hard to tell because of its brown color. There are about 23 chicks, they are a mix of tennessee reds and bobwhites. They all hatched out together. Can someone tell me how to stop the pecking?

Hopfully someone will have answers for you. I dont know about chicks but I had a young hen scalp a young male befor when I use to have them.

If you have them under a white light, switch to red... cool them down just a bit, they dont want to peck as much if their just a bit chilly. set up another brooder. more room will usually fix aggression issues... Good luck, Bill
