ok, it wasnt normal, the wee guy died last night, only thing i could see that looked wrong was his beak was purple? left with one chick now, on the hunt to get some friends for him, think ive found some at £1 each, is that cheap or expensive for quail chicks? thanks

Sounds like a typical price. I paid $2.20 US for chicks just the other day.

I just got 10 more babies for 5$ yesterday, was paying $5 for 5 quail, but he decided to do the whole buy one get one free on me, and tossed 5 more in there..."Heres you a couple extra" - get home and I got 10 quail instead of 5, lol not a bad deal! though I wasn't wanting that many!
