Quail chicks

Where do you buy quail chicks? Im in iowa and quail aren't very popular. I dont have an incubator so can't get eggs. We had a store that sold chicks but they are out and dont plan on getting anymore. Wheres a good place to look? Only needing 4-6 quail.

Craigslist and the "where are you" portion of this forum are your best bets. Also, call local pet shops, quail are occasionally sold as pets.

Find co op supply store that’s were I got mine they have also chickens and rabbits sometimes other birds or go on craglist ir offer up or if you want you could hatch some yourself

I had to drive 3 hours to get started, no one in my area had anything. So we drove and got 10 chicks that started it all, now we breed, and have different colors, and have ordered eggs online so you could get an incubator they can be pretty cheap (small version) or pretty expensive (like thousands for the huge laboratory ones LOL) my Hova was 130 or so with everything included and the Janoel was about $60 or something. Now we hatch out all sorts.
