Quail Couple Picking on One

So the beat up quail is in fact the biggest of them all. They are being fed game bird feed, with added treats like greens. The hutch is placed on ground with lots of little bushes and flowers in it so they do have foliage to hide in. I'll add pictures now.

Coturnix really need to be in flocks. 5 is an ideal minimum, partly to help avoid issues like this. They aren't single or pair birds, they really shouldn't be kept in ones and twos.
