Quail Egg Laying

Hi, I have 4 snowflake bobwhite quail three females and one male. One of them started laying yesterday. So far they just layed one egg, but have not layed one today. Is it normal for them to miss a day of egg laying.

It will take a little while for her system to be fully operational so she might skip the odd day initially. Make sure they have oyster shell grit offered in a separate bowl (not mixed into their food) so they can eat the amount they need and help prevent egg binding.
