quail egg prices....

I just got 120 eggs off of craigslist for incubating for 24 bucks lol. I feel cheep now lol.

Lol I'm to honest for that, I refuse to go back to working at a pet shop for just that reason.

ETA: If I can make up for most of the feed bill selling eating and hatching eggs and a few started birds a year after what I want for eating and occasional hatching eggs I will be happy.

They are California Quail. They are pretty solid birds and perfect for our winters.

I place an ad here for eggs and 3 out of the 4 people that pm'ed me were in that price range. One lady was I think $40 for 120 so I will probably end up buying some from her. I want them for hatching, I don't need the ones made of gold

Yes valley and california quail are the same. I know mcmurrey hatchery used to carry gambles but you had to order 100 day olds, they may have eggs that you could order less of. After my bobs I will NEVER order 100 day old quail again.

ETA: I just looked at murray mcmurray's website and they have Gambles and California eggs at 72.90 for 30 but they're sold out right now.
