My wife is from Colombia S.A., so we go down for vacation at least once a year during the summer. We stumbbled onto a quail farm the other day, and the fella that owns it, also makes these skillet type egg cookers. The quail eggs down there are like a delicacy. They are served at parties, weddings, and things like that. This certain griddle cooks the raw egg on one side, you flip it, and cook the other side. The stick stays in as you cook and flip, and when its done, BAM! Quail egg shishkabob! These are the scissors he uses to cut the eggs open with .

That is so neat! I wonder if the griddle is available in the US, I would definitely want to try it.
I have a pair of those scissors someone sent me off Amazon, but alas the quail aren't laying for me now.
