hi guys

well even if you have eggs to swap

it doesnt work out that well...lizard eggs almost never hatch after they have been shipped. Unlike chicken eggs, they cant be turned at all. They are soooo fragile!! My friends and I have been trying to develop a method to ship and so far we have only 5% hatch rate, stupid PO takes no care at shipping boxes

build it how you see fit honestly! I know that's not the answer you're looking for but quail are pretty easy to raise in most pens/hutches/enclosures.

Wanna know how much I paid for mine?

Well....the biggest pen is a rabbit hutch I got for free

The 6 hole pen (each hole *sparate cage* is 2 by 2 holds 5 quail, 1 male 4 hens) i paid $40 for it

If you want something simple like that...time to classified hunt!

So many peole are begging to get rid of their rabbit hutches

*just trying to help make quail easier for people to raise by hinting at how easy it can be to get homes for them he he*!

awh thank you sooo much for the compliments! I have a few quail eggs left (a few as in 3-4 possibly 5 if I get another tomorrow lol) if you had $10 to pay for s & h (which comes with tracking) i'd ship you out these remaining eggs for free (well free + shipping haha) if ya lived near by i'd even allow pick up (edited to say okay you deffinatly dont live near by hahaha)!. Just an offer, you probably can't do it but just incase I wanted to offer that. I don't expect a small fee for myself from the eggs until spring when I'm really breeding them these eggs img etting now are just remaining eggs my hens are squeezing out lol!

By the way for more ideas if you have garden fencing, you can even get solid wire cages and zip tie them to the fence (that's how i have my 6 hole rigged up) and I just have a tarp over the whole thing and my quail are great. Hard to believe that's allthey need but they're pretty hardy guys

I'm more worried about predators then them succuming to elements
