Aw, those are cute! Had to google them. I've never heard of those before! Do they eat the same diet as conures? I have always heard that conures have very runny stools, and can't be let to roam in your house, unless you want birdy poo all over the place!

Have you ever seen a true parakeet? Those are gorgeous! They are pink and grey. There was a pet store when I lived here before that had them for $100. I was going to get some when I moved back, but the store is gone.

I think so. They are so small and cute. I also want a macaw but I heard they are biters.

Plus they are very loud, which in turn causes them to be abused a lot by their owners. So then of course they would be more prone to biting.

I dont mind loud. I can sleep through anything and I love hearing the natural calls. I dont like how people abuse the poor animals. No respect

A friend of mine has a blue, He is aggressive to anyone but her, but he was a rescue that was abused badly by his previous 'man' owner. He had his wing broken so badly that he can not fly at all. Which in a way is good, cause who wants a flying $2000 pet, but it's still sad.

Aha!! I found the name of the ones I was talking about. They are called the Bourke parakeet, and they are pretty! Hatch me some for my B-day next year!!
