I've learned one thing with chicken eggs. They don't always hatch when they are supposed to! Maybe quail eggs are the same. Give them another day or 2.

cheers will do i'm showing them more attention than the misses lol I was expecting at least some sort of rocking movement by now I've got everything crossed at the mo.

Yes be patient!!! If your temp was a little low they may go two days beyond the "hatch" date. The eggs dont usually move when they are hatching. At least my chicken eggs dont. I have 22 bantam eggs in right now I have two pipped this afternoon and they are cheeping away!!! I have such a hard time not helping them out!!!!!

Oh I thought you would see movement lol derr!! well it is my first time I suppose I'm aloud a blonde moment or two still no sign today but my second set up is a lot better than my incubator my temps av been pretty much bang on and my humidity so thats why I,m a bit worried.

Have you candled the eggs to see if they are developing?
I've had a chicken egg hatch 4 days late once, so don't worry, yet. And sit on your hands!

I must own up I didn't candle my eggs although this was a big mistake but I pick one up and heard some tapping so I still hopeful I'm still learning from error at the mo if these don't hatch I wont be put off and will try again. I hoping on at least a few out of 23 eggs I know they say expect only 70% to hatch thats fine I've got only home for a few of them and I'm keeping some of them myself there button Quails by the way I would love to hatch chicken and others but I live in a one bed flat and its turning into a lil zoo already lol.

thanx all for your helpful info keep it coming.

well I just took a few eggs out the first load one at a time that is and candled them I couldn't see through them and there was a clear air sack at the blunt end are they any good peeps??

cheers mate I feel a 100% better I love this site just discovered it yesterday I can talk about eggs without being called a geek
thanx again.
