Quail eggs are driving me mad!!

Its coming!!!! My chicken eggs are a little behind though so its going to be alone for a few days I think... It hasnt made a sound though. The chicks start cheeping before the even pip the shell.

Just a Ring neck K bird. A friend raises them to train his dog on. Would love to have a Lady Amhurst. They are gorgeous but expensive and rare around here.

i like the reeves pheasant not sure if thats the right spelling lol the one with the long tail my mate lives on a farm he had one and a golden pheasant which his dad shot while trying to shoot a fox oops has the chick mad it yet if so where's the pic lol

It hatched but not looking to good. Has a cross beak too. I dont think its going to make it. Friend trying to hatch chukers now. Pheasants stopped laying. On a good note one of the banty eggs pipped this afternoon.

It is looking better this morning. giving it sugar water and got a very small amount of food in it this morning.


Dark one on the left is the pheasant the other is the banty chick. They are the same size. Phes. legs are alot longer though. Phes seems happy it has company now.

looks cute glad too see its coming on I know you told me to stick to the same eggs but as soon as I see some silkie bantams on there there look so cute the girls loved the look of them they just turned up this morning it was £10 for 3 eggs they are in really good condition my incubator has been running at a straight 98'F 35% humidity I'm gonna leave them to stand till late tomorrow then put them in I really really hope it goes all well this time what day do you stop turning then raise your humidity and what humidity do you go up too.

Try for close to 40% the first 18days.Turn eggs three times a day. Day 18 is lock down. Then get the humidity up to 65-70% till they all hatch. Chicken hatch about day 21. Can be from day 18 to 23 though.
