Quail eggs are driving me mad!!

Good luck!!! I have a few more days before I'll know anything about mine. Did look like a few had dark spots yesterday. I hope thats good.... Harder to see through these blue large eggs.

I had the same just dark spot I'll leave it till Monday-Tuesday there might be more visible then

usually 5-7 days with chicken eggs before you can really see the veins..

I looked last night and I have eggs I can see veins in on day two!!!! Totally cool!!!! I think it is going to be a long hatch If some are this far ahead.

well the silkie eggs were **** so now i've ordered some button quail eggs again I'm starting to get angry now if I get one more fail some1 is gonna get a visit from me lol

i've noticed where you've bought eggs off of ebay to hatch, with little success. have you candled your eggs when you 1st got them? sometimes the air sac will detach itself and " kinda" move around when you move the egg. if you see this you need to put the eggs in an upright position, small end down. let them set for 4-24 hrs so all the air bubbles can get back to the top (big end) and heal itself. after this put them in the incubator. i try to incubate mine in an upright postion (automatic egg turner). the guys are right about humidity and drowning chicks.... i've had the last 3 batches drown because i failed to keep my humidity down in the early stages of incubation.

yes I got them yesterday there settling till 2 uk time then i'm putting them in i'm running at 100F - 45% Humidity any advise before I put them in any will be welcome
