Quail eggs are driving me mad!!

I missed one of my deliveries today now I've got to wait till tomorrow to get it post office is gonna be closed by the time my lift gets here but my second load should come tomorrow as well so I will put them both to settle for 24hrs together so they can all go in one go my incubator is running perfect its set up better than ever so all should go well

I have hatching chicks!!!!!!!!! Well, chicken chicks.....

Some set them right in the bator rather than letting them rest, but just dont turn them for the first day or two....

still waiting on my second load thought they would be here today now i'm gonna have eggs in one incubator one day apart I will have to either lock down early or late tough one really I suppose a day late would be better

Lock down a day late will be fine. My last ones I pulled from under a broody hatched before I thought they would so they were still being turned and was at 45% humidity when the first one hatched. Only lost one out of ten eggs. Hens turn their eggs right up till they hatch. Yes put them in Pointy side down so the air sac settles on the correct side of the egg. Id even wait two or three days before turning to make sure they have a good start.

I now have all my eggs in only 2 where broke in the second load so i have now have 34 eggs in total but the only problem is that my second load turned up 2 days late so I will lock down a day late but still be a day early on the second load but thats all I can do thats if all goes well

just candled my first ones and there is a lil spot the already woo hoo my luck may of changed.
