quail eggs exploting!!!!!!!!

Today is day 12 for my couturnix quail eggs and this morning while I was turning them one exploted in my hands and some green goo went into my mouth!!!!

Now I stink
What can I do to get smell out of my house and me????
I took 3 showers allready and I still stik....
The worst part is that my brother and his wife are coming to visit from Denver today

Please somebody help me!!!!

Wow...sorry to hear about that! I've gotten it on me before too....lemon juice & salt work well to get the scent off you, I would try baking soda everywhere else....after you washed it with soapy water & dried it.

Mouth wash..................in your mouth and where ever else the egg got!!! That is the first time ive heard of a quail egg exploding, ive seen duck eggs explode, but they are almost twice the incubating time of quail.
